When did Peter miss a university class?
Rodgers Otiso stated that, as per Churchill Kipkoech, Peter's close friend and fellow student, Peter was absent from class on Friday, November 21, which was very out of character for him.
"Disturbed by Peter's absence, a circle of close friends went to his home. They discovered the door secured with a stick, enabling them to push it open. Upon entering, they encountered the heartbreaking scene of Peter's dead body, indicating he had died by self-strangulation with a rope," he stated.
A 22-year-old had posted a concerning message on Facebook that hinted at emotional pain prior to his passing.
Numerous people responded to the post, trying to offer him comfort and gain insight into his experience.
Has the police initiated an inquiry regarding Peter's death?
A companion of Peter's contacted him via WhatsApp, inquiring about his well-being and offering assistance.
Peter replied that they would talk later, as he was feeling unwell, but they never spoke again.
"Churchill mentioned that a day prior to the incident, Peter had posted concerning messages on his Facebook and WhatsApp, indicating remorse over being in a relationship. Churchill asked what was wrong in response, but Peter never answered; the message stayed greyed out until his passing. It is claimed that Peter had recently experienced heartbreak tied to a love triangle, which friends think might have led to the tragedy," Otiso said.
The police have initiated inquiries regarding the event, while the university has not released an official statement yet.
