After La Voix was unfortunately compelled to withdraw of this year’s Strictly Come Dancingbecause of an injury, another star's future on theBBCIt now seems to be at risk.

As per Alex Kingston's daughter, the 62-year-old actress performed at Blackpool's Tower Ballroom on Saturday night with a 'dislocated rib'.

Commenting on a social mediaPost showcasing Alex and Johannes Rabede's couple's choice dance from the weekend, her daughter Salome Violetta Haertel, 24, commented: 'So so proud!!! Nailed it on the dance floor, even with a dislocated rib!!!'

Fans have shown their worry about the news, with a "Strictly" viewer noting that the competitors are "falling like flies" this season.

'Hope she's fine. This year's group is all falling apart,' said AbaloneDefiant5413 onReddit.

Meanwhile, a different fan believed they saw Alex flinch in discomfort during the dance, which received 35 points and positive feedback from the judges.

If you pay close attention, you can see her reaching for her chest at the end of the dance," wrote barbieshell75. "At first, I thought, oh no, has she had a costume issue? But seeing this made me understand what it actually was." Many people referred to this series as "cursed.

Concerned for Alex, hoping she gets better! This series is truly cursed, I wonder if we'll end up with a two-person final after all...' said Jazzlike-Hall7987, as Smilingtribute added: 'Honestly, if she withdraws, this series is cursed.

Only yesterday, it was revealed that La Voix had to withdraw from the competition, having skipped the Blackpool performances because of a painful foot injury.

You might have heard that La Voix has suffered an injury, which means she won't be able to dance in Blackpool tonight," Tess said during Saturday's show, adding, "After receiving more guidance from our medical team, we can now confirm she has unfortunately had to step down from the competition.

"I'm completely heartbroken to step down from Strictly Come Dancing," the RuPaul's Drag Race contestant posted on social media yesterday.

This isn't the shining exit I ever dreamed of, and it hurts me to feel as if I'm disappointing others. My soul longs to continue dancing, but my foot has different plans!

Prior to La Voix, Neighbours actor Stefan Dennis and Dianne Buswell – who became the first pregnant professional in Strictly's history – left the competition following the actor's calf injury.

'I am truly heartbroken at having to depart so early, particularly since there has been, and continues to be, a great deal of love and support for both Dianne and me,' he remarked regarding his departure.

The initial exit from the series occurred before the first episode was broadcast, when the formerLove IslandStar Dani Dyer revealed her 'heartbreak' at having to leave the show after breaking her ankle during rehearsals.

Earlier this series, Claudia Winklemanand Tess Daly revealed that they are taking a break from their long-standing hosting positions on the program.

In the past few months and years, the BBC program has beenstruck by a series of controversies, including bullying claims, drug use allegations, and it has now come to light that two celebrities are facing accusations of sexual assault.

Bosses were reported to beconsidering pausing the showin the aftermath of aThe star's arrest on suspicion of sexually assaulting a womanfollowing a BBC event, which was disclosed last week.

Despite reports of a break, insiders confirmed to the Daily Mailthat the show will proceed in 2026, stating: ‘It has already been ordered for 2026. And after that, there's no chance it will go anywhere.’

It occurred just three months after another unidentified male celebrity was taken into custody on allegations of rape. Authorities reported that a man was arrested in August on suspicion of rape and for having 'non-consensual intimate image abuse'.

The controversy is reported to have split the BBC's top executives, with some determined that the program should continue, while others are contemplating a break in 2026.

This is said to enable the program to 'strengthen' protective procedures and also update the structure.

A source within the BBC has revealedThe Sunthat it is believed thatTess Daly and Claudia Winkleman’s sudden departure from the programmight give producers the chance to take a break from Strictly.

They stated: "It's honestly quite humiliating. The sentiment among many is that we just get by for the rest of the series, attempt to provide a proper farewell for Tess and Claudia, and then use the new hosts as a valid excuse to start over."

The decay is so extensive that a genuine solution is required. The sentiment at Broadcasting House is to use the new chapter as a reason to implement that.

It occurs against the backdrop of broader controversies within the BBC – ranging from MasterChef to Huw Edwards – which were reported to former Director General Tim Davie, who cautioned MPs in September that more issues were still to be revealed.
