Evivi Foods, a top name in Ghana's food and manufacturing sector, has introduced its newest culinary advancement – the 'Evivi Soya Oil', representing a major achievement in the company's dedication to Ghanaian production and the encouragement of local goods. The debut, which occurred during the Nkyimkyim Experience-Evivi Edition at the
The National Theatre was attended by hundreds of people who enjoy entertainment and food. Visitors had a chance to try Evivi's khebab made with chicken from the company. Some also had the opportunity to receive samples of the recently introduced Evivi Soya Oil.
The General Manager of Newage Agric Solutions Limited, the parent company of Evivi Foods, Martin Tettey Nartey, highlighted that the introduction of Evivi Soya Oil reflects the brand's dedication to Ghana's food self-sufficiency goals. "Evivi Foods is strongly committed to promoting Ghana's food self-sufficiency agenda."
Our commitment is based on three fundamental principles: local procurement and supporting farmers; high-quality processing and enhancing value; and fostering national pride and consumer trust. In short, Evivi Foods aims to feed Ghana, support farmers, and promote the growth of top-tier Ghanaian products that can stand out globally," he stated.
He called on the government to establish the appropriate business environment and policies to safeguard local industries and promote sustainability. "A successful local food industry goes beyond entrepreneurial initiatives; it also relies on government policies that offer a fair competitive landscape for Ghanaian producers such as Evivi Foods. Thoughtfully crafted trade and industrial policies are crucial for ensuring long-term sustainability, competitiveness, and national food security," he stated.

In an interview with the media during the unveiling of the Evivi Soya oil, Joana Asante, the Commodities Manager at Evivi Foods, stated that the products are being produced locally to generate employment and enhance the nation's economy.
She remains optimistic that this will bring significant change for many soybean farmers in Ghana, particularly women involved in soy farming, and she is confident that Ghanaians will embrace Evivi Soya Oil as they have with Evivi Rice — another offering from the company.
A significant portion of the oil is imported, and we are among the few who manufacture it locally. We guarantee the quality of our products to consumers, as the oil is produced in a secure environment that follows strict quality control measures to ensure our offerings comply with global standards.
Our primary raw material, oil, is sourced from local soya farms; this is how we have chosen to enhance the entire soya bean supply chain in Ghana. I think Ghanaians will embrace our oil in the same way they have accepted our rice," she said.
Miss Asante mentioned that the oil is designed to be the ideal option for consumers who emphasize quality and health. “Evivi Soya Oil is meticulously refined to provide exceptional purity, along with a fragrance that enhances each dish. Packed with vital nutrients and low in saturated fats, Evivi Oil is the ideal choice for families who care about quality, wellness, and delicious flavor. Whether frying, baking, or cooking daily, rely on Evivi to make every meal light, tasty, and wonderfully nourishing,” she said.
She referred to Evivi Soya Oil as a food item that can unite people. “Crafted with care for the contemporary Ghanaian household, Evivi Soyabean Oil is your reliable companion for tasty, nutritious meals. Its smooth consistency and mild flavor complement your favorite dishes without dominating them. Thanks to its vital minerals, Evivi Soya Oil ensures your family remains well-nourished, secure, and content – one meal at a time,” she explained.
